La Asociación Nacional de Ganaderos de Panamá (Anagan) presentará a las autoridades del país una propuesta aún en estudio para enfrentar las graves consecuencias de la falta de lluvias en la ganadería, anunciaron hoy sus líderes.

ONU Advierte que Pérdidas Económicas por Desastres están Fuera de Control e Insta al Sector Privado a Reducir el Riesgo

La Organización de las Naciones Unidas emitió una seria advertencia a la comunidad empresarial mundial sobre el hecho de que las pérdidas económicas relacionadas con desastres están “fuera de control” e irán en aumento: a menos que la reducción del riesgo de desastres se torne el elemento fundamental de las estrategias de inversión privada.

El fin de semana el gobierno afirmó que no se utilizaron las hidroeléctricas Bayano, Changuinola ni Fortuna —esta última la más importante del país por su nivel de aporte—, debido a que se registraron algunas lluvias y a que el consumo bajó, lo que indica que se mantiene en aumento el uso de energía térmica.
