The Natural conservancy (TNC) works in more than 30 countries addressing threats to conservation by using a science-based approach and pragmatic solutions to conservation challenges. TNC applies high level strategies in the following areas: conservation action, climate change, rainforests, coral reefs, migratory birds, land conservation, people and conservations, and smart development. These strategies include: forest-friendly farming practices, payments for environmental services, fresh water conservation, forest restoration, ecosystem-based adaptation, and conservation on indigenous lands. TNC works engaging governments, businesses and communities to support policy action on climate change. The TNC’s Global Climate Change Team provides worldwide leadership by forging high-impact partnerships, developing policy strategies and leading research, science and innovation about climate change and conservation.
